NEWS December 2011 Completed the music score programming of composer Velton Ray Bunch’s score for the TNT television movie “Silent Witness”. Completed composing and producing eleven original music tracks for Fresh Cut Television and Video. November 2011 The short film “Dated” screened at the LA Comedy Fest on November 17. David was the composer for this comedy starring Edie McClurg. April 2011 “Tall Ships: The Privateer Lynx” soundtrack was released by MovieScore Media in digital download format on March 31 and on CD, April 3rd. A concert performance of “The Minnesota Woman” orchestral work was performed by the Fargo Moorhead Area Youth Symphonies Senior High Symphony Orchestra along with students from Pelican Rapids High School, and members of the White Earth Reservation on April 3rd, in Festival Hall at the Reineke Fine Arts Center, NDSU, Fargo, ND. March 2011 Completed scoring the short film “Shoelace” directed by John Paul Fischbach. February 2011 Completed scoring the online video presentation commercial for Prodigy Asset Management. November 2010 Was a guest speaker at the Wild Rose Independent Film Festival in Des Moines, IA, for a seminar on “Breaking into the Indie Film Scoring Biz”, Nov. 8 at The Fleur Cinema & Café. October 2010 Finished scoring the opening title sequence for the short film “A Timeless Journey” directed by David Bellino for the Naval Research Laboratory. September 2010 Currently in Minnesota for the 2010 McKnight Visiting Composer program, in conjunction with the American Composers Forum, working on a project about “The Minnesota Woman”. August 2010 Currently scoring the short film “Overlap” directed by Kevin Dietrich. May 2010 Currently scoring the short film “Dated” starring Edie McClurg, directed by Jonathan Levit and produced by Rhys Ryan. The Calgary Stampede Showband released their new CD “Breaking Boundaries” which features a track by David entitled “Spirit of the Stallions” performed by the Calgary Stampede Woodwind ensemble during the 2009 Calgary Stampede October 2009 Completed scoring the documentary “Tall Ships: The Privateer Lynx” for director Robert Margouleff. July 2009 “Spirit of the Stallions” gets its world premiere performance by the Calgary Stampede Woodwind Ensemble at the Calgary Stampede, followed by a performance each evening from July 3-12, 2009. April 2009 Completed scoring the TV series “Animal Exploration with Jarod Miller”. March 2009 Commissioned to compose a three minute piece for the Calgary Stampede Woodwind Ensemble.
